The Sheriff’s office is listed as operating 24 hours, while the county records ordinance gives public-records access during 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday except holidays. If the custodian is not regularly present where records are kept, the ordinance says 48 hours’ notice may be needed.
